My son grew some grass in a cup for Easter and it was starting to get really long so I thought I'd have some fun with my macro. This is Cameron's gingerbread house that he made in school a couple of months ago. I posted this image because my friend Shana and her husband Kyle helped me calibrate my monitor since my computer really needed it! I have been meaning to post pictures of this 20 x 30 inch canvas for a client but just haven't had the chance. I love walking in someone's home and seeing a huge photograph on the wall. Someday my son will be staring with the same look of adoration in his eyes, only it won't be for me but for the new girl in his life. So I cherish captures like this so that I will never forget that I was once his number one girl. ;)

This is Megan. She is a beautiful girl inside and out. She was so willing to do anything - even climb on top of the crumbling steps of the Pioneer Pavillion. She has such gorgeous hair and a beautiful smile, and has the matching personality to go with it.

I find this carriage kind of eerie with this post processing and it was just as eerie when I saw it at the Canfield Fair a couple of weeks ago. It made me wonder who and what the baby was like and how his or her parents were. Reminds me of a prop they would use in the haunting movie, "The Others"

This is the view right outside my inlaws' house. They usually rent part of their land to farmers and they usually plant the boring stuff like soy, corn, or wheat. This year they decided to plant sunflowers and boy these pictures really do not do them justice. One of God's many beautiful creations!

Just trying out different shades of black and white. You know when you look at an image in Photoshop for a long time you start getting cross eyed? Photoshop gives you so many possibilities, and can also sometimes cause great headaches, lol. Anyway, which one do you prefer? I love the image on the book, "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer. I heard the book is fantastic as well. Anyway, i thought I'd try to see if I could recreate the shot. It was a little tricky since I had to use the remote so my hands look all screwed up. You can see the original image HERE.

Part of a Mother's Day present for the kids' grandmas. Very easy to make. Just take a photo of your child, cut a little slit by the hands and insert an artificial flower and you have a 3-D photo!(Sorry the colors within the photo are awful & his head is cut off, lol!.)
